Public New Deal Art Tours
Visit the historic McKinley County Courthouse and public library in downtown Gallup, NM with an expert guide to time travel to the 1930/40s.
Explore New DEal architecture, murals, decorative arts, and paintings to dig into the development of New Mexican visual identity and the origins of Native American painting.
Tour details
- Free to the public. No registration required.
- Last Saturday of every month
- Tour starts at 1:30 PM in front of the historic McKinley County Courthouse.
- Tours are approximately one hour long and the route is a total of three or four city blocks in distance. Tours are partly outside, but mostly inside.
- ADA accommodations are available.
